I might be wrong about Mercury Retrograde...
There is some sort of portal opening. I know, I know... Mercury Retrograde started yesterday and people always freak out about it, but based on what’s happening for me - I think it might be getting a bad rap this time.
When I was 16 my Dad told me that I could get higher practicing breathwork than any psychedelic that I was experimenting with. I told him he didn't know what he was talking about, and went back to what I was doing.
So today I wanted to share about the summit I took part in so that you can enjoy all of the benefits.
Yesterday I talked about how real progress usually happens incrementally. And that’s not to say that you can’t make a lot of progress quickly. It has to do with the way that your nervous system reacts to adversity.
The movies I love always make it seem like progress is something that happens in quantum leaps. Like success is something that happens overnight, in some magic flash.
One of the most interesting things about explaining breathwork is talking about the benefits, because there are such a wide spectrum of benefits that appeal to different people.

Relationships can be a rocky road to navigate when you're on the healing path. You start redefining yourself, shedding, and going into places that change you - sometimes the people around you aren't ok with that.
I don’t think taking psychedelics is enough.
Are they transformative? Absolutely.
Are they the only way to change your life? Not even close.
I remember the moment well. I had gone for my daily walk along the dry bed of the Rillito River. On the path beside me, bikes passed. Someone was walking their dog and I was focusing on my breath, admiring the Saguaros and Palo Verde trees in bloom.
